CHAMP Champ was rescued from Walton County Animal Control with an embedded collar. This happens when a collar is placed on a puppy and not adjusted as the puppy grows. This is an extremely painful condition. We gave Champ immediate surgery to have collar removed and wounds treated. He was cared for until healed and has since been adopted.
